The building is, as I mentioned before, similar to Minecraft, but not all blocks are complete cubes like dirt blocks that have a small curvature on the corner, so not completely imitating Minecraft blocks. No extra lag presented itself which is impressive for originally small game. Multiplayer worked for me and it was splendid. Each game or software might support slightly different kinds of content in their Workshop, so it's best to check out the official documentation for more details on what can be created and shared in that area. The combat is decent, some of the crafting recipes are expensive, especially in the mage's path but not over-the-top. The Steam Workshop makes it easy to discover or share new content for your game or software.
On that note, I believe that there should be a code change to somehow stop portals spawning in caves.
I have a feeling that the portal is underground in caves. Currently, I seem to be stuck on a particular world with only 1 portal. But having an island that is quite large is even more frustrating because it would take even longer to find the portals. The islands aren't too big, which is a little annoying. This game is similar to Minecraft but involving levels.
